Yost Road Project

Yost Rd.

Upper Frederick Township was awarded a Dirt & Gravel/Low Volume Roads Grant through Montgomery County Conservation District.  The program provides funding to eliminate stream pollution caused by runoff and sediment.  Through this grant the Township was able to mitigate the drainage issue along Yost Road. A portion of the road was deteriorating away which was only allowing for single lane of travel. This past fall a new roadside swale was constructed to allow water to travel off the road. Yost Road has also been resurfaced from Swiesford Road to Snyder Road.  We thank Montgomery County Conservation District for their help in allowing the Township to accomplish this major project.
