The Supervisors of Upper Frederick Township have among their long-range objectives the maintenance of the rural character of the Township.
While near-by municipalities struggle with the concept of "growing greener", Upper Frederick Township is blessed with expanses of fields and woods and clear streams.
If the present citizens of the Township wish to attract new residents to whom this rural character is important, there is much we can do to interest those people in
UPPER FREDERICK TOWNSHIP.
One of the first things prospective residents see is the condition of the roadsides, the freedom of litter and the neatness of the home sites. Patrol, pick up and dispose of the trash that thoughtless passers-by have discarded; we are the only ones who will do it.
The preservation of the native state of the environment, a concern which is receiving a good deal of attention from universities and the popular press, deals with the effects foreign species of plants and animals have on the native flora and fauna of North of America. Some of these invasive life forms are present now in our Township.
